The Basics

Hi everyone, my friend and I love shopping for Littlest Pet Shop but a lot of the time they can be fake. We all know how frustrating it can be to spend hard earned money on something that isn't even real. It's like buying air its pointless unless you have breathing problems. Those of you who have not been scammed by liars, and fake sellers that is why we are here. We are here to update you on the latest scams and tricks that can be used to fool you and steal what rightfully belongs to you. So here are some basic tips you can use to start off.

  • If the paint is too glossy that can indicate that someone had been painting the lps with nail polish. Most people custom their lps with nail polish but believe it or not the chemicles can dissolve the plastic on the lps.
  • To check the eyes of the lps use the three F's. Flat, fat, and fuzzy. If the eyes are too wide that can mean someone painted it or was rubbing it. If the eyes are flat this can just be a newer lps, but if they are inverted then that means it is a fake head. If it is fuzzy that means it was being smudged.
  • Some of the older lps can have smooshy heads because the plastic is worn out, if a new lps has a smooshy head the plastic could be fake or rubber. Not only that but if the head can easily pop off that also shows the lps is fake. With the old lps, if you were to take the head off it would never go back on and your lps would be broken for good. Fake lps are supposed to be copies of the old/real ones. So how is the head coming off if it's old?? -_-
  • If the paint of the lps smells odd the paint or plastic could be fake.
  • Is the lps you're looking at from a older year? Then why does it have a hexagon when there should be a magnet there?!? :T
  • There are only two more things to know about before you can continue shopping or trading for lps. Look out for odd shapes. Fake lps have strange head/body shapes. Why does a dog have a squirrel body?
  • You've finally made it to the end now. The last thing you should know is that the fake lps come in strange colors. A pink cat that was meant to be orange with a purple and brown body totally makes sense. :1

  3. My local Supermarket sells fake Shopkins and fake My Little Pony figures. Luckily, they don't sell fake LPS there.

The fake MLP toys were titled ''My Little Horse'' and the fake shopkins were titled ''Shoppins'' Make sure you check the title of what you're buying before you buy it!

  5. I sell and I think your advice about only selecting free shipping is bad advice. Now when you sort your search it takes into consideration shipping and shipping is shown in your results. Most people combine shipping and charge cost to ship... so just a few bucks will ship 5 or 6 LPS. For this reason most people don't offer free but you can still get steals. I hope you do right by new users and edit that part.

  6. I assume that you sell and offer free shipping and are hoping to just direct people to your listings.. so I would be honest in that if it is the case.
